The Crypt Choir and Chamber Ensemble from the King’s School Canterbury are heading to Greenwich, where they will be performing Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610, in the 450th anniversary year since the composer’s birth.
Following performances in Rome, as part of the choir’s recent tour, the school will be performing at St Alfege Church in Greenwich town centre. Described as a choral masterpiece of unprecedented musical scope and audacious beauty, it will be the ensembles first London concert for many years.
Tickets are free and available via their website.
Wednesday 8th November, 7.30pm at St Alfege Church, Greenwich, London.
